Our Company Summary

Coegil connects portfolio managers, from retail advisors to hedge fund managers, and research providers with real-time insights and collaboration tools through a social-media environment and marketplace. The results? PMs spend hours each day on the Coegil platform to discover, purchase, and consume dynamic research and collaborate with third-party analysts to make profitable investment recommendations more quickly and accurately. Core Engineer

ROLE SUMMARY
The Core Engineering team is responsible for the brains & heart of the Coegil platform spanning our Private Exchange, Data Science Factory, Asset Ingest, and Blockchain services. Engineers in this team will design & build modules, components, systems, and agent-based algorithms to bring these critical services to life. They are full-stack developers who build fault-agnostic, scalable, data-driven, and evolvable components in Python that promote and enhance our core execution workflows. This requires a unique engineering mindset that balances creativity, conceptual ability and practicality along with a strong sense of craftsmanship.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, code, instrument and enable the use of our core software libraries, components, systems, and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with product management, UI & Trade engineering and operational teams in producing high-quality software using common approaches and standards.
  • Live and contribute to our engineering culture.
  • Design and build advanced automated testing frameworks and tooling as necessary to improve development velocity & quality.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Proven experience building and enhancing commercial SaaS applications.
    • Experience in cloud engineering, microservices, and CI/CD.
    • 7+ years of experience in computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
    • 5+ years of coding experience in one or more of the following languages: Python (strongly preferred), Java, or C++.
    • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Preferred Qualifications

Platform Engineer

ROLE SUMMARY
The Platform Operations team is responsible for the brains & blood of the Coegil platform spanning our Private Exchange, Data Science Factory, Asset Ingest, and Blockchain services. Engineers in this team will have a dev/ops role to design, build/buy & operate: modules, components, and services for our critical systems. They are full-stack developers who build scalable, diagnosable, data-driven, and evolvable components, in Python & other infra-as-code solutions. This requires a unique engineering & infrastructure mindset that balances creativity, conceptual ability and practicality along with a strong sense of craftsmanship.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, code, instrument and maintain our infrastructure architecture.
  • Design & implement reusable automation for cloud platforms to be used for our engineering & operational teams.

ROLE SUMMARY
The Marketing team is responsible for organic growth in users and revenue to realize Coegil’s ambitious business goals. Marketing establishes and maintains a positive brand awareness through content, PPC, and other marketing activities to Coegil’s target market.  We are looking for amazing, data-driven inbound marketers to own the marketing funnel for our company.  You will be in charge of attracting site traffic, converting that traffic into new leads for our business, and nurturing those leads to close into users.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design, implement, and operate our marketing campaigns utilizing a metrics & KPI methodology ensure marketing performance,
  • Build and manage a rich content calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our properties,

Trainee/Intern

ROLE SUMMARY
The Coegil Leadership Program (TLP) brings together technology and entrepreneurship. It is a yearlong program with 3 rotations, once every 4 months to understand and contribute to our various growth areas including Technology, Product Management, Marketing, Investor Relations, & Corporate Operations among others. It is a highly selective and intense program where the best and the brightest, work closely with the core leadership on real-world problems and solutions. You will have first-hand experience working in an early stage company going through rapid growth to prepare you for your own entrepreneurial journey or joining the next generation workforce. Our TLP Internship program is an 11-week summer program to provide an opportunity to experience the full-time TLP program.
